Good and bad blog coments.

This is my blog comment check. It shows all the good and bad comments in the drawing. The good parts are in green and the bad parts were in red.

Hildegard of Bingen

Today we made a animation of Hildegard of Bingen. We all had to choose a part in her life and create a animation in groups of 3. I did when she was a teacher and how she made medicine with plants.  Hildegard Hildegard Hildegard Hildegard of Bingen

My weekly reflection.

What did I enjoy this week?
This week I enjoyed doing my recount. My favorite topic in school is writing so i loved it. I wrote about my holiday when we moved the cows on a stormy day.

What was one success I have had and why?
A success I have had this week was smashing through my contract. We had a lot to do this week and I got it done very quickly. My best piece of work I did from my contract was my scientist drawing. It took me a bit longer but it was very good.

 Something I found tricky?
Something I found tricky this week was my math x test. The questions were on another level of math that i had never done before.THey used words Like mean and consecutive. So my answer was just a big fat ?

What is one thing I have learned?
One thing I have learned this week is how to start in algebra. Before I started I had no idea what 4 x h ment but now i know that it is just a symbol and can mean anything you want it to.

What is something I am looking forward to next week?
Next week I am looking forward to finishing my creative myth and legend. Mine is called the snoziepoopies invent spaghetti. Once we have written them we will go and read them to the juniors.

How have I shown pono this week?
This week I have shown pono in imaginative prayer. On one of the tasks we had to say what we are truly thinking about. Pono means truth in maori so I was showing pono.

Imaginative prayer

This is my post on Imaginative prayer. It shows what Imaginative prayer Is and how to use it.
We did some types of it today and they were very fun.

On The Farm

Squelch went the mud, as my soggy gumboot sank into the brown muck. Only twenty one cows had made it up the slippery bank, and we had to get all thirty out of the flooded paddock. The heavy rain pounded my soaking wet overalls like a machine gun, as if it was trying to make me slip. As I slowly shimmied down the grassy slope, I could hear the distant moos of the last nine cows echoing through the gully. Suddenly, I misplaced my foot on a patch of long wet grass, sending me skidding down the rest of the hill. After staggering to my feet, I discovered a bush - not just any bush, a moving bush! Looking closer I realised that the strange plant was the hiding place of a mother deer and its fawn. The startled creatures took one quick glance at my muddy face, then went galloping up the slope like mountain goats. I sat staring in wonder at the majestic creature before, getting back to my task. The pouring rain made everything slippery and hard to see. I had to rely on the missing cows distant moos to find my way. Finally, I heard a loud crash coming from the thick scrub. I crept up to the edge of the tea tree and peeped through the spiky gorse bush and … there they were! The last nine cows - camping up under the shelter of the trees. I snuck round the back of the shivering herd, making noises to get them standing up. Once the group were all standing, I started to drive the large mammals up the muddy slippery bank. Loose rocks and debris from the struggling cows hooves tumbled down beside be. Further and further we walked, until finally the iron gate swinging in the rain was in sight. We gathered all our energy and made the final charge to the exit! As the final cow made its way through, and into the new paddock, I swung it shut with relief. Finally it was over! Off I went home for some hot milo.

Cybersmart for term 3

What i enjoy doing in Cybersmart. Something i enjoy doing in cyber smart is learning how to stay safe online. Hundreds of kids are scammed or bullied every year on social media so learning how to stop it is very helpful.

What i want to learn. I want to learn how to make a better movie. What i mean by that is i want to do editing and better camera shots to make my film look mint👌.

matariki gods

This is my slide about the to maori gods of planting. We had to do 5 facts about each of them and without further adieu here they are.

matariki go setting

This is my matariki goal setting slide. For matariki we had to set a goal for every subject in school. Here they are.

My term

The biggest challenge. The biggest challenge was about the 2 maori gods responsible for fruit and veggies.
It was very hard to read the big words. Some of the big words were like rhizome and vegetative. Evan the google define couldn't pronounce them.

Something i have improved on. I have improved on my math. specifically my angels. I learned how to use a protractor
and measure more than one angle. We did a sheet on them for the first lesson. i only got half of them on the first lesson
but i got it in a few weeks.

The highlight of my term was coming back from lockdown and seeing all my friends again. i had been stuck with the same people
for 7 weeks it got a bit boring so coming back to school was a good change of scenery.

Something i have learned. I have learned how to use coordinates on a sheet. They were hard at first but i got them in the end.
My favorite was a game we had to do on them. There was a number coordinates of on the screen and you had to write there
position on the board in 20 seconds.

What am i looking ford to this holidays. I am looking forward to going down to Taranaki to see my uncle and auntie. They have a dairy farm so we get to milk all the cowes. It takes about 14 ours to drive down there but its worth it. We get to see every body.
