My holiday

I heard the huge tall pine trees creak and sway as the cool
forest brees blew them side to side.

I saw my excited cousins skidding across the long brown
pine needles that littered the damp forest floor as they
sprinted to get the best hiding spot.

I felt the ruff, rotten tree bark press against my back as I
cautiously peeked over the hedge dead log.

I wondered how long would this massive rotten tree
fortress save me from the sneaky taggers hunting in every
nook and cranny for me.
Do you like playing in the bush?

I really liked how you added a question on the end of your post.
I learnt that you love playing in the bush.
Maybe you could tell us what you are playing in the bush.
How did you know how big the forest is?
